The man rushed over like a madman, grabbing her waist as if he were clinging to his life! He gave her a violent tug, throwing her back into the balcony. He held onto the edge of the frame and with a powerful effort, managed to pull himself back inside, narrowly escaping a fatal fall.

He was pale with shock as he crouched down to check on her.

"Nan Huang, look at me, look at me! I'm Phoenix!" he said in a panic.

Her heart was pounding forcefully; she had come so close, so dangerously close to jumping!

"Phoenix..."

Phoenix was still alive...

But why had he come now, after all this time?

Nan Huang's eyes started to well up with tears as she clung to his neck, aimed for his lips, and bit down hard.

She was too drunk, unable to distinguish reality, and her emotions were magnified by the alcohol.

Maybe it was the pain inside her, or maybe it was the release of her inner loneliness, but she pulled him fiercely, as if she was afraid he would suddenly disappear. She bit him hard, until the taste of blood filled her mouth.

The man's face, initially pale from shock, gradually turned flushed with a different kind of emotion.

"Little thing, you brought this upon yourself!" he said angrily.

She opened her eyes and saw a young, imposing man sleeping soundly in front of her.

Rong Wu Ye?!

Nan Huang was taken aback and quickly moved away. However, the soreness in her waist made her uncomfortable. 

The man gradually woke up.

He had slept well last night, and after such a satisfying experience, he had enjoyed a rare, good night's sleep. He woke up feeling refreshed.

When he saw that Nan Huang was awake, he smiled gently at her.

Nan Huang pushed him away and tried to get out of bed, realizing what had happened last night. Her expression turned angry.

He approached her and held her up. "Why don't you lie down for a moment? Let me massage your back. I'll take care of things myself." Rong Wu Ye spoke with a lowered tone, his expression sincere.

Nan Huang pursed her lips and glared at him fiercely.

"No need," she said coldly.

Her waist was sore, but she didn't want him to touch her again.

Thinking about what had happened last night, wondering if she had misunderstood something, Rong Wu Ye closed his eyes for a moment. "Last night, do you remember anything?"

He said, "It was you... who initiated it."

"What did you say?" Nan Huang suddenly sat up, her hand pulling the bedsheet to cover her young, full body.

Then, the pain in her waist hit her again, and her face changed drastically.

She had no memory of what had happened last night.

She initiated it?!

This was impossible!!

Rong Wu Ye was patient. "It was me! I initiated it. Your appearance when you were drunk was too tempting, and I couldn't resist your seduction, so I had you."

He looked at her affectionately. "Your waist hurts. Do you want to lie down again? I can give you a massage."

Nan Huang, still in pain, stood up against the wall. "No need. I'm fine."

The current situation felt very awkward to her, and she wanted to get him out of her room.

"Did I do anything embarrassing last night?" Nan Huang asked.

Was jumping off the building considered embarrassing?

What if she got drunk again next time... how would he manage without her?

Rong Wu Ye, who felt a sense of trepidation, said, "It was quite embarrassing. Don't drink like that again in the future."

Nan Huang frowned but didn't press the matter further.

Rong Wu Ye, now angry, said, "Embarrassing? You think it's just embarrassing? You take advantage of me, and you don't even want to take responsibility for it? Outrageous!"

He suddenly got up, put on his clothes, and left the room in frustration.

Once the man was gone, Nan Huang finally relaxed from her tense emotions. Her waist was sore, and she flopped down onto the soft bed to rest.

She didn't want to have this kind of relationship with any man ever again!!!
